Education does not protect from prejudice: Anti-semitism and islamophobia in Higher Education

A study conducted by a German and Canadian team shows that a relativly high percentage of university students agree with negative statements about jews and muslims. The researchers take this as a sign for anti-semitic and islamophobic attitudes, prejudices and stereotypes. The study was conducted at the Universität Osnabrück (Niedersachsen, Germany) and at the University of Victoria (British Columbia, Canada).
