Visiting counsellors – a new thing at German UAS Zwickau

At Westsächsische Hochschule Zwickau, a university of applied sciences in the east of Germany, a new kind of counselling has been introduced. In an interview with ZEITonline Maria Vogel explains her job similar to the job of a street worker, meeting the students in clubs and bars and get them to talk in order to be able to help them. The project is funded by the student services and there are plans to expand the offer if it proves successful. Read more on ZEITOnline (German).
